A Wee-Bit Late butttt, Ladies and Gents, The Kings and Queens of Coachella

Every April, for as long as I can remember,
I get a case of the Coachella blues.
Not because I've gone and miss it afterwards,
but because I HAVE NEVER BEEN.
Oh, how it angers me.
I cannot think of a place I would be happier.
The line-up, the sun, the heavy dose of celebrity culture
and, of course, the clothes.
These are, in my opinion, the kings and queens
of Coachella 2014.
To start off with, this was just epic:

So, the Jenner sisters and Selena Gomez are best friends now.
It's fine, I'll get in the clique at some point. But, anyways,
may I direct your attention to the first photo;
these three are, seriously, doing Coachella-wear right.
My personal favorite of the three, Kendall.

Now, I know the nose ring is pretty
offensive and the all-black outfit is slightly witchy, but this girl
looks absolutely gorgeous in everything she wears
and, somehow, pulls off even the most ridiculous of outfits.
Overall, I found her style at this year's Coachella on point.
It left me OOO-ing and AHH-ing and green with envy.

Next up, Aaron and Lauren Paul:

Lauren Paul has become such a style inspiration for me.
She has that California comfort and ease about her
and always looks perfectly put together.
Her clothes at Coachella this year did not disappoint.
She just looks flawless. I literally adore every single look. According
to her Instagram all of her clothes were made by Stone Cold Fox,
a brand founded by some of her friends. I want it all.
OH and Aaron, he's a king of Coachella because he's
Aaron Paul and he's the king of everything.

This photo provides a nice segue into my next pick for
a queen of Coachella, Ellie Goulding:

Ellie's on-stage style always impresses me. It
fits her personality so well. It's quirky, teeny,
and easy to dance in. This lady LOVES
to dance. Basically, I just love her and
she's a queen of Coachella because not only
did she perform an incredible set but she
looked great while doing it.
That brings me to Hilary Duff and
her semi-estranged husband, Mike Comrie:

I don't know what's going on with their marital status, but,
it's all fine by me because Hil looked so great at Coachella.
Her looks were perfectly effortless and "not too much".
These are not outfits that are restricted to the strange world
in the desert that is Coachella, they are just
summery and cute and casual and comfy and
the hat so fabulous. So, there ya go.

Now, onto a girl, who you most likely disagree with my decision
 to include, Vanessa Hudgens:

Now, I think she may have gone slightly overboard this year
with the mermaid hair and the straight-up cheetah bikini.
However, I am including her in this list because how
could you not include Vanessa Hudgens as a queen of Coachella?
The girl freakin' LIVES for this stuff.
AND, the outfit from the first photo would be
absolutely adorable without the mermaid hair. AND, ya know
what else? She's having fun and wearing
what she likes and I like that. So, I'm glad that Baby V was
able to make it to another year of her life's passion.

Next up, Alessandra Ambrosio:

Alessandra ALWAYS impresses with her
flawless festival fashion at Coachella and this year was no exception.
She and her girlfriends looked great, effortless, chic,
and, once again, the HATS. Love it...and the fact that she
brought her little girl to one day of the festival. So cute.

Last but never least, Kate Bosworth:

Kate Bosworth is such a fashion icon for me. She
always looks absolutely flawless and I loved the romper
she was rocking this year. The high-bun, platforms, and
the ray-bans that never leave her face added the perfect
touches to the outfit. Not to mention her handsome hubby, Michael Polish;
the ultimate accessory. As always, I applaud you, Kate.
____________

Maybe next year I'll finally make it to the festival
that I've obsessed over for years and be able to
create my very own ensembles. Till then, I
just have to add Coachella-wear accents to my outfits
for random occasions and deal with the shade that I receive for it.

On that note, make sure to check out my upcoming post
on DIY flower crowns!

Till next time! xx.
